
WITHOUT Exercising…besides chasing my kids around 😉
You guys…. I seriously can’t believe I’m even writing a post about losing weight. I have lost weight in the past but it was always due to intense exercise i.e. training for a half marathon, Insanity or P90x workouts. And to be honest, I was much younger then with a lot of free time (ie no kids lol).
In November 2018, I was back to work (after baby #2) and wanted to give the Keto diet a try. I started to slowly lose a little bit of weight but then I would cheat and gain some. Then lose some, then gain some.
Then something happened and weight REALLY started dropping.

I stumbled upon a girl’s instagram account…she always was so upbeat and happy and just really seemed to have her shit together. I hit the follow button. She posted alot of Keto recipes so I would screen shot them and save them to make later.
Then she started talking about Ketones and I was like what the eff are Ketones? I brushed it off as just some weird thing Keto people did. She kept up with her upbeat happy shit and I was like how does this girl have so much energy…must just be another fake influencer.
Eventually, I clicked on the link in her bio about these “Ketones” and watched a video that explained how they work.. Wow, this makes so much sense. Then I watched several Youtube videos of doctors explaining why these specific Ketones work and how they are going to change the game for everyone. I was intrigued, I mean they are doctors (I looked them up, they are legit) and they are backing this product. I never, ever buy “health products” from Social Media “influencers.” I am a skeptic by nature, all humans are to some degree.

But these doctors kept talking about how your brain functions better when your body is in Ketosis.
These Ketones put you in Ketosis within an hour of drinking them!! No matter what diet you follow.
I ended up buying a “10 day experience pack” and let me just tell you…I was still skeptical. Until I drank that magical drink and all of a sudden I felt awake, focused, motivated and HAPPY. I was just buzzing around getting everything done, my brain was firing on all cylinders. Wow, well this will wear off I’m sure. NOPE!
During that 10 Day experience I lost 5 pounds and my bloat had gone down severely. So I messaged the Instagram girl and asked where to buy some more. Here I am, 4 months later and 25 pounds lighter, and a whole hell of a lot happier in my life.

Here’s what I experienced since drinking Ketones:
- Decreased Anxiety
- Weight Loss
- Cravings are Minimal
- Clearer Skin
- Better Sleep (Can we get an AMEN for some sleep)
- No More Mom Brain/Brain Fog
